Baltic Exchange
- To make the indices more comprehensible and useful, we have been in discussion for some time with the baltic exchange to design a website to enable publishing the indices in chinese. Finally in aug of this year we were so honored to reach agreement with the baltic exchange and were authorized to create the website and translate the indices into chinese and publish it on daily basis to serve chinese users who can access the website at trivial cost but still obtain rich information from the baltic exchange. The website will be launched with a one month trial from december 1st publishing the indices and fixture list&report at 10:00 every day which includes:
- The Baltic Exchange Dry Index ( BDI )
The Baltic Exchange Capesize Index ( BCI )
The Baltic Exchange Panamax Index ( BPI )
The Baltic Exchange Supramax Index ( BSI )
The Baltic Exchange Handysize Index ( BHSI )
The Baltic Exchange Dirty Tanker Index ( BDTI)
The Baltic Exchange Clean Tanker Index ( BCTI ) - Daily dry cargo fixture list and market reports. All of these are now available in chinese language to the Chinese market through this website.
- Making Chinese version of the Baltic Exchange Indices is an important part of constructing shanghai as a shipping center in 2020 which reflect government resolution to reach this goal. We do believe today’s step will become great leap in developing Chinese shipping market in the future.
